Gary Goffin is President and founder of The Goffin Group, LLC, a leading provider of outsourced travel services to television production companies.
Prior to forming The Goffin Group, Gary Goffin was Vice President, Strategic Programs and Events for Fidelity Investments Institutional Brokerage Group. With the overall responsibility for a $5 million budget for 150+ meetings annually,
he developed and directed corporate events for Fidelity clients, prospects and associates that generated both quality leads and client loyalty.
Gary Goffin began his career in hospitality and travel working part-time and summers in restaurant, hotel and country club operations. Before joining
Fidelity Investments he was Officer, Corporate Meetings and Travel for
Chubb LifeAmerica, where he created and managed numerous successful and innovative meetings and incentive programs.
Gary Goffin is a Certified Meeting Professional (CMP). He has served on the boards of the Cornell Club of Boston, New England Meeting Professionals International, and the New England Chapter of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. In addition, he has been a speaker, breakout moderator, and guest lecturer at industry meetings, meetings management certification programs, and at the Massachusetts Governor's Council on Travel and Tourism.
A native of Connecticut, he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Hotel Administration from Cornell University.
Gary Goffin resides in the Boston area with his wife and two children. He enjoys playing tennis and basketball, as well as travel, railroad history, and classic automobiles.
